What changed for 2026

The Extreme has always stood for explosive topspin and easy power. After a couple of softer, more muted generations, Head brought the crisp, powerful feel back for 2026, and our tester noticed the firmer flex and extra power straight away, without the frame turning unpredictable.

Hy-Bor in the shaft, an aerospace-grade material, gives the Pro a solid, anchored impact and holds its line against heavy pace. Auxetic 2.0 in the yoke and handle keeps you connected to the ball so you can feel exactly where contact happens, which matters most on a control frame. The spin grommets and open 16x19 pattern still snap back for topspin, and the sound grommets keep that crisp Extreme response.
