Daniil Medvedev Racquets, Shoes, Bags, and Accessories

A tall, powerful Russian, Daniil Medvedev has asserted himself as a force among the next generation of men’s tennis players. Nicknamed “Bear,” he started taking tennis seriously at the age of six. Medvedev studied applied economics and commerce at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, but he dropped out to focus on tennis. With his family, he moved to Antibes, France, where he trained at the tennis academy. As a result of living mostly overseas, Medvedev can speak French, English, and Russian. His breakthrough season on tour came in 2019 when he reached 6 straight finals with a 29-3 run after Wimbledon finishing runner-up in Washington DC and Montreal, winning the ATP Masters 1000 title in Cincinnati and reaching his first Grand Slam final at the US Open, the youngest Grand Slam finalist since Djokovic in 2010. His favorite surface is grass and he considers his return his best shot. In his spare time, Medvedev enjoys playing PlayStation, and, if he wasn’t a tennis player, he would have played any other sport. Currently, Medvedev is ranked No.5 in the world. He has won one major title (2021 US Open).
