Jessica Pegula has carved out an impressive career on the WTA tour and has backed up her career-best performance at a major be making the quarterfinals of the 2022 Australian Open. She was introduced to tennis by her family at the age of 7. If Pegula could use one word to describe herself, it would be “Determined”. She has proved this time and time again, making it to the quarter-finals in the last three out of six Grand Slams. Her favorite tournament is the US Open and one of her tennis idols is Martina Hingis. Pegula plays an aggressive baseline game and punishes the ball with her flat groundstrokes. She recently made a coaching switch and hired tour veteran David Witt. Pegula launched her own skincare line called Ready 24. She is a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, and follows the team from wherever the WTA takes her.
