Description

Introducing the Mizuno AcroSpeed, a power-oriented tennis racquet designed for intermediate to advanced players who want maximum ball speed without sacrificing control. Built around Mizuno's Enerzy Frame and Dual Spring technologies, the AcroSpeed stores and returns energy through an arched frame cross section and a resilient, layered carbon fiber construction, creating a trampoline effect that translates directly into explosive groundstrokes and serves. The a.b.g. and Booster grommet systems work alongside a 16 x 19 string pattern to increase dwell time on the strings, generating impressive spin for a power frame. A variable beam thickness runs the length of the frame for a stable, precise impact experience on shots from any corner of the court. With a generous 100 sq. in. head, the AcroSpeed is a versatile weapon for competitive players of all styles who want to take the pace of the game into their own hands.

This racquet comes in two weights. This is the 285g version.

Features:

-Enerzy Frame

-Dual Spring

Incredible feel, an all around great racquet!!!!

"I've played with many racquets over the years (Head, Yonex, Wilson, Prince, Diadem, etc. ) , but this Mizuno Acrospeed 285 is by far the nicest racquet I've ever used. When I first hit a few balls with it my initial reaction was - "Wow!!!". It has a super plush feeling to it, great control and just the right amount of power to complement it. Great touch and control on volleys, serving is a breeze and ground strokes are effortless with great directional control. When I first read about the racquet, I was a little concerned it might be too powerful given people were trying to compare it to a Pure Drive, but in my view it's nothing like a Pure Drive given its comfort and controllable power. All in all a great overall racquet. For reference, I'm a 3. 5/4. 0 rated player, strung with Dunlop Iconic All at 53/51 lbs."
