ZacharySvajda
Born into a life of tennis, Zachary "Zach" Svajda began playing at the age of 2 under the tutelage of Matt Hanlin. Zach's father, Tom, was himself a professional tennis coach. Tom once played the USTA Boys' 18s National Championships back in 1982, a tournament that Zach would later win in 2019 and 2021. Zach followed not just his father's legacy, but also Roger Federer's, practicing alongside the Swiss Maestro prior to his retirement in 2019 and turning pro that same year. Svajda's Boys' 18s championships victory earned him a wildcard entry into the 2019 US Open, making him the youngest player since Donald Young in 2005 to play the main draw on the men's side. His first Challenger title came in 2022 at that year's Tiburon Challenger, defeating fellow American Ben Shelton to earn his title. He followed up 2022's success with 3 Challenger titles in 2023 at the Citi Open, Cary Challenger II, and once more at the Tiburon Challenger, defending his title and earning a spot in the top 150. With 7 Challenger titles under his belt as of 2026, Zach broke into the top 100 after reaching the round of 16 at the Delray Beach Open.
