Sebastian Korda Racquets, Shoes, Bags, and Accessories

Sebastian Korda, nicknamed "Sebi" is relatively new to the ATP. He began playing tennis at age 8 and comes from a tennis family. His father is former World No. 2, Petr Korda, while his mother is also a former pro. Growing up, Sebi initially showed interested in hockey but made the switch to the courts after going to the 2009 U.S. Open with his father. Nine years later, Sebi made his pro-debut at the 2018 New York Open as a wild card entry. He ended his debut by falling in the first round to Frances Tiafoe. Growing up, Korda looked up to Radek Stepanek, Nadal, and his father, who is now his coach. At the 2020 French Open, Sebi faced his idol, Nadal, in the fourth round. In 2018, he won the Junior Australian Open, but his favorite tournament is the U.S. Open, presumably because it is where he found his love for tennis. Currently, he is ranked #213 by the ATP. Sebi's favorite surface is clay and is gaining recognition for a powerful, two-handed backhand. As well as his former pro tennis parents, his sisters are both star golfers on the LPGA tour.
