KarenKhachanov
Karen Khachanov, also known as Djan, is a tall and powerful Russian player that began playing tennis as a 3 year old in pre-school. He decided to become a professional player at 12 years of age. When he turned 15, he moved to Split, Croatia, and later moved to Barcelona, Spain for tennis training. In 2013 he won the U18 European Championship title in Switzerland, then received a wild-card into the Kremlin Cup where he defeated Janko Tipsarevic. 2018 he showed much promise winning the Marseille Open, Kremlin Cup and Paris Masters 1000 title. His favorite shot is his serve, and his tennis idols are Marat Safin and Juan Martin del Potro. His attended Sozvezdie secondary school in Moscow and graduated in 2018 from University of Physical Education in Moscow. In 2016 he married his girlfriend Veronika, and in 2019 had his first son, David.
