Joao Fonseca Racquets, Shoes, Bags, and Accessories

For Joao Fonseca, a life of tennis seemed natural, almost predetermined. Living just 10 minutes away from the Rio de Janeiro Country Club, Fonseca began playing at the age of 4 on the clay courts. At just 17 years old, Joao became the first Brazilian to ever rank No. 1 in the Junior ATP circuit. He had championships at the 2023 Australian Open Boys' - Doubles tournament as well as the champion of the US Open Boys - Singles tournament. 2023 also marked his ATP debut at the Rio Open. In 2025, Joao Fonseca made his Grand Slam debut at the Australian Open, qualifying for the main draw and taking down Andrey Rublev in his first match. In a twist of irony, this meant Fonseca was the first teenager to beat a top 10 player in a Grand Slam round 1 match since Rublev himself.
