Though born in Canada, Bianca started playing tennis at age 7 in Pitesti, Romania with Gabriel Hristache. A few years later she returned to Canada and trained at the Ontario Racquet Club then onto the Canadian National Tennis Training Program in Toronto. As a young teenager, Bianca soon became unstoppable winning several ITF tournaments, the 2017 Australian Open Junior Doubles Title, and the 2017 French Open Junior Doubles title with Carson Branstine. After turning pro, she started to climb the rankings quickly reaching her first career WTA singles final at the 2019 ASB Classic in Auckland, and capturing her first career WTA Singles titles at the 2019 BNP Paribas Open and Toronto Rogers Cup, then later capturing her first Grand Slam Singles trophy at the US Open. Her favorite tennis players are Simona Halep and Kim Clisters. Her nickname is "Bibi" and she speaks fluent Romanian.
