Anastasia Potapova is a proud Austrian tennis player that started playing tennis because of her grandmother, who was a national tennis coach. Potapova first learned about tennis from her grandmother, and fell in love with the sport. Her career started strong, and she won the 2016 Wimbledon girls' singles. In 2017, her first year on the tour as an unranked player, she was able to set herself apart and climbed to the top 500 players. She began her WTA tour debut after receiving a wildcard to compete in the Premier Mandatory event in Miami. Since then, Potapova has only grown her career and skills and now boasts 3 single and doubles games. Potapova is very private, but she recently changed her nationality to Austrian, due to the ongoing war in the Ukraine. She keeps fans updated on her life through her Instagram.
