Alison Riske-Amritraj Racquets, Shoes, Bags, and Accessories

Alison Riske (born July 03, 1990) turned pro in 2009 and is the daughter of Albert and Carol Riske. She started playing at the age of 3 with her father and older siblings, Sarah McGlamery and Daniel. She is known for having an aggressive style of play and admired watching her idol Monica Seles play. After much success with high school tennis, USTA Junior Tournaments and ITF tournaments, she earned a tennis scholarship to Vanderbilt University. However, she gave up her scholarship in 2009 to pursue her dream of becoming a professional tennis player. In 2014 Riske was able to capture her first WTA Title by winning the Tianjin Open in Tianjin, China. In 2019 she posted her best season yet reaching the Women's Singles Quarterfinals at Wimbledon, and capturing her second WTA Singles title in 's-Hertogenbosch. Alison enjoys writing, reading and spending time with her family and friends. If she hadn't become a professional tennis player, she would have studied medicine. Shortly after Wimbledon, she married her long-time boyfriend Stephen Amritraj in her hometown of Pittsburgh.
