HEAD Zverev Collection: Gold, Purple and a First Grand Slam Title

Alexander Zverev spent 13 years chasing his first major title, and three Grand Slam finals slipped away before he finally got there at Roland Garros this June. HEAD is marking the moment with a limited-edition Gravity collection built around Zverev's own colorway, and the presale is open now at Tennis Express.

A Long Time Coming

Zverev entered Roland Garros with a 0-3 record in major finals: a two-set lead lost to Dominic Thiem at the 2020 US Open, a two-sets-to-one lead lost to Carlos Alcaraz on the same Paris clay in 2024, and a straight-sets loss to Jannik Sinner at the 2025 Australian Open. This time, against first-time finalist Flavio Cobolli, he closed it out 6-1, 4-6, 6-4, 6-7(5-7), 6-1 in a match that ran past four hours.

The win made him the first German man to win a Grand Slam singles title since Boris Becker at the 1996 Australian Open, and the first to win the French Open since Henner Henkel in 1937. He endorses the Gravity Tour, so HEAD built the celebration around the racquet already in his bag.

Before Paris, Zverev had carried the label of the best player yet to win a major. At 6-foot-6, he moves better than his height would suggest, defending deep from the baseline and backing it up with one of the most dominant serves in the sport. He's also been playing with more aggression lately, taking charge of rallies and punishing short balls rather than waiting them out.

What's in the Collection

Three pieces make up the launch, all wearing the same two-tone flip design: gold on one face, deep purple on the other. HEAD frames the pairing as a nod to Zverev's relationship with New York, and three gold accents run through each frame as a reference to the three necklaces he's known for wearing on court. Both racquets pull from the broader HEAD Gravity Collection, just dressed for the occasion.

Gravity Tour Zverev 2026

The Gravity Tour Zverev 2026 is the racquet Alexander Zverev endorses, and it keeps the same playability as the standard 2025 rebuild: a smaller 98-square-inch head and the first open 16x19 pattern in the Tour's history, built for players who want spin without giving up the Gravity line's control identity. Gravity MP Zverev 2026

The Gravity MP Zverev 2026 wears the same gold-and-purple cosmetic but is built for a different player. It carries the standard MP's Auxetic 2.0 construction and half-cap grommet system in a 100-square-inch head with a denser 16x20 pattern, an easier-to-play frame made for a wider range of players rather than the model Zverev competes with. Pro X Duffle Bag L Zverev Edition

Rounding out the launch is the Pro X Duffle Bag L Zverev Edition, finished in navy with the same gold-and-purple accenting as the racquets. It holds up to six frames, with CCT+ climate protection in the racquet compartment, a detachable bag for sweaty gear, two zippered outer pockets and a dedicated shoe compartment.

Launch Details

The full collection launches worldwide on August 20, 2026. If you already know you like the standard Gravity Tour or Gravity MP, the Zverev editions play the same; you're just picking up a piece of the setup that finally got him over the line in Paris.
