Britain’s Heather Watson started playing tennis at age 7 and moved to Florida at 12 to train at the Bolletteri Academy. She is known for strong performances in doubles, as well as taking Serena Williams to 8-6 in the third set on home soil at Wimbledon. In her junior career, Watson won the 2009 Junior US Open, captured gold at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games, and reached No. 3 in the world on the ITF Junior Circuit. Her most success on the pro tour came at Wimbledon where she won the 2016 Mixed Doubles title with partner Henri Kontinen, and reached the 2018 Women's Doubles Quarterfinals. Heather graduated from high school at the top of her class in 2009, and she considers Serena Williams and Beyonce her style icons. Her hobbies include fashion, shopping, spending time with family on the beach, and watching the sunset.
