Birthplace: Málaga, Spain6'0" (183 cm)Right Handed, Two-handed BackhandTurned Pro 2017

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina was born in La Cala del Moral to Edvard Davidovich and Tatiana Fokina, a Swede and a Russian respectively. Davidovich began playing tennis with his father Edvard at the age of 3 and in 2009 began receiving coaching from Jorge Aguirre, who is still his coach today. In 2017, Davidovich made his juniors debut in the ATP and won the Wimbledon Boys' singles title that year without dropping a set. He later turned pro in 2019, winning two Challenger titles in Seville and Liuzhou. Partnering with fellow Spaniard Roberto Carballés Baena for the 2020 Chile Open in Santiago, they worked together to claim their first ATP doubles title. For the 2021 Summer Olympics, Davidovich represented Spain but lost in the third round to Novak Djokovic. He would get a rematch against Djokovic in the 2022 Monte Carlo Open second round, where he triumphed over the No.1 player. Davidovich is known for his aggressive playing style, using quick movements, powerful ground strokes, and drop shots to overwhelm his competition. He's also not afraid to dive for the ball regardless of the surface, making for risky plays yet highly entertaining spectacle. Davidovich is also the founder of adoptas.org, an animal mediation platform that helps people connect to animal homes, veterinarians, and shelters to help animal lovers across Spain adopt and foster animals in need of a home.
