Description

With the Clash 100 Pro v3 Demo Tennis Racquet, Wilson improves on their most flexible performance frame. For starters, the racquet returns to a black cosmetic with flashes of red. Wilson's FORTYFIVE frame technology features updated carbon mapping which improves the racquet's flex, but it also still maintains best-in-class stability. Clash is different from other racquets because it flexes both vertically and horizontally to complement any swing style. The added flex doesn't reduce stability thanks to the unique torsional strength which helps keep the racquet head from twisting on off-center hits. Wilson dropped the weight of the 100 Pro down to 10.8 ounces (unstrung) which will aid the faster and longer swings of established intermediate players. This model is one of the most arm-friendly racquets for big hitters who want added forgiveness on off-center hits.

Features:

-There is only one Clash.

-Arm friendly, yet stable.

-Versatile for flatter traditional strokes and more modern vertical swings.

Expert Review

The control-oriented Clash, and one of the most arm-friendly frames a big hitter can play. It keeps the line's flex, comfort and stability but adds a denser pattern and a little weight to dial in the response, and this generation it is lighter and more accessible than the Pro before it.

Great for: Established intermediate and advanced players who take big cuts and want more control and consistency without giving up comfort. The 16x20 pattern steadies the string bed for a player whose shots get away, the extra weight adds stability and driving power, and the low flex keeps it exceptionally arm-friendly, so a big hitter with elbow trouble can still swing out. Lighter this generation, so it is more accessible than the last Pro.

Not ideal for: Beginners and players who want the lightest, most forgiving Clash. The standard Clash 100 is easier to swing, and a player wanting a firmer, more traditional control frame will want to look elsewhere.
