Wilson CourtGlide Tennis Shoe Review: Performance on a Budget

Wilson's reputation for making high-performing tennis shoes is the reason they stay amongst the best of the best year after year. The Wilson CourtGlide Tennis Shoes are built on the same technology as the Wilson Rush series, offering performance and comfort right out of the box. The CourtGlide borrows that same design and incorporates a streamlined, minimalist approach. Wilson designed these shoes to be comfortable, stable, and ready for any court surface. Oh, and did I mention they are only $80!?

Wilson CourtGlide: The Good Stuff

The Wilson CourtGlide tennis shoes are an elite option for everyday tennis players. Whether you're an absolute beginner looking for a reliable shoe or you're an advanced player looking for a comfortable pair to practice in, the CourtGlide will not disappoint. What makes these shoes so good?

  • Instant Fit: Some shoes take multiple practice sessions to break in and finally feel comfortable. Not the Wilson CourtGlides. These shoes are designed to go from the box to the court without a hitch. If you're looking for comfort and to avoid blisters, it doesn't get much better than this.
  • Smooth Stability: The CourtGlide's lightweight, breathable, responsive design is bolstered by its reliable stabilty. The key to next-level footwork is a shoe with ample stability. The CourtGlide provides that and much more.
  • All-Court Ready: Do you play on multiple court surfaces? The Wilson CourtGlide tennis shoes are designed to perform on all of them (even clay). Its modified herringbone outsole
(with multi-directional flex grooves) delivers trustworthy traction without sacrificing comfort.
  • Affordable: Shoes with performance features such as these are rarely this cheap. The CourtGlide's awesome price ($80) is in no way an admission of low quality, but a statement by Wilson in creating high-performing tennis shoes for every budget.

Cons

While I'm a huge fan of these tennis shoes, especially their low price, there are some drawbacks. If you are a tennis coach looking for extra comfort, these shoes are perfect for you; however, if you're an advanced tennis player, I'd recommend the Wilson Rush Pro 4.5 Tennis Shoes instead.

Don't Just Run, Glide

The Wilson CourtGlide proves you don’t need to spend a fortune to move like a pro. These shoes bring Wilson’s trusted performance and sleek design together in one lightweight, all-court package that’s ready the moment you lace up. For $80, you get instant comfort, smooth stability, and serious value. Whether you’re grinding through practice or battling for match point, the CourtGlide keeps you moving with confidence and style.
