Caroline Garcia has been coached by her father, Louis Paul Garcia, since she started playing tennis. Caro played many sports when she was younger and chose tennis because it was the one she enjoyed the most. In 2011 she reached her first WTA Singles main draws reaching the second rounds at the Australian Open and Roland Garros. Her big break came in 2014 when she finished the year inside the top 40 rankings and won her first WTA Singles title at Bogota. In 2016 she continued to move up the rankings winning two WTA Singles titles in Strasbourg and Mallorca, as well as winning the Roland Garros Women's Doubles title with compatriot Kiki Mladenovic. She has been a leader for the French Fed Cup as well helping the team capture it's third Fed Cup title in 2019. During her downtime, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and watching/playing other sports.
