Founder Garret Gosselin turned his misfortune around in 2020 when he discovered pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in the nation. After being laid off his previous job, Gosselin dedicated himself to playing and competing in pickleball as much as he could with his doubles partner Ryan. Dissatisfied with the paddles available on the market at the time, they set off to create their own carbon fiber paddle with the specs they needed. With their new prototypes in hand, Garrett and Ryan dominated the challenge courts and sought to get their new design USAPA approved for tournament play. At that moment, crbn was born.
