As a rising star in the junior tennis circuit, she became the youngest finalist in the girls' singles junior US Open and the youngest champion at the 2018 junior French Open. In 2019 she continued to rise, winning her first WTA main draw match at Miami Open, and then her first grand slam debut match against her idol Venus Williams at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships. Her favorite surface is hard court and her favorite players are Serena and Venus Williams. Coco won the biggest title of her career at the 2023 Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati, where along the way she got her first win over Iga Swiatek.
