After playing with full poly strings for a year and then poly/synthetic gut hybrid for about a year I tried these. The natural gut has provided much better feel and durability has been just fine. I have tried them in three different racquets and the performance has been really great. Ive been using these for about 7 months and Im very satisfied.

Theres a reason Rodger Federer uses these strings. Extreme playability with a great combination of power, control and spin generation. Ive tried stringing this hybrid both ways but I prefer the gut in the mains as it gives me more feel.

In my current racket, Wilson 6.1 95s, Ive hit 4G @56 poly, Y-Tex Quadro Twist@56 poly and Tecnifibre HDX Tour@62multifilament. The Champions Choice offers the best compromise for my swingof power and control. Its also easy on the arm and shoulder, where the full poly caused an occasional shoulder pain. It takes some getting used to the power coming from full poly, which I had no business using. It lasts about a month or 12-18 hours of play. Im on my fourth set and will be sticking with this set-up for now. The HDX does everything well but I feel more confident taking a full, hard swing with the Champions Choice. Also, on serve, you can really generate some brisk pace with a fairly modest effort making it easy to place your serve. Try it! Gut main @54, Poly Crosses @51 Im sure if I strung them both at 53 I could not tell the difference. I strung them at different tensions 54/51 copying the pros and liked it but its more superstition than science
