Racquet Specs |
|
The new EXO3 Red from Prince is updated for 2011 with new cosmetics and a change to the Energy Bridge technology for even more feel. Overall, the specs stay in line with previous Red versions, meaning extremely maneuverable, comfortable and easy to hit.
Baseline
This lighter weight racquet offers exceptional power with what I found was a large sweetspot. Groundstrokes seemed almost effortless, but players with long and loopy strokes will find the ball flying on them a bit. The open string pattern helps impart a good amount of spin.
Volleys
At the net the EXO3 Red provides tons of punch with a huge sweetspot that helps keep volleys under control. Net players looking for spin and power at all levels will love this one at net.
Serves
Overall I found plenty of power when serving. The lighter weight again helped me generate head speed and a fast swing. Along with all the power the huge sweetspot helped provide, I found it just as easy to generate spin, I found easy access to spin serves with tons of bite.
Overall
The new EXO3 Red will appeal to a wide range of player as it is so versatile and offers so much power and spin.
