Recently, Andre Agassi was a guest on the Late Show with David Letterman to promote his new autobiography "Open". In the clip below, Letterman discusses the mullet Agassi wore during the French Open.

David Letterman also joked that Agassi's revelation that he wore a hair piece on court was more shocking than his admission using crystal meth in 1997.

But why wear the crazy mullet? According to Andre Agassi, "I was at a time in my life (where I was) a bit hiding myself," Agassi told Letterman. "Any form of rebellion (is someone's attempt at) hiding their inner self. What better way to hide yourself rather than wear a mullett."

We will miss Agassi's awesome mullet.
