Babolat Launches Pure Aero La Decima to Honor Nadal's Historic Clay Court Dominance
After the American events at Indian Wells and Miami, the tennis world shifts from hard courts to clay courts. This has become known as “Rafa Time”. Nadal’s record on red clay speaks for itself: 10 titles at Roland Garros, and 22* clay court ATP 1000 titles populate the Spaniard’s resume and make him the greatest clay court player of all time. At the beginning of every clay season Babolat releases a Roland Garros edition of Nadal’s signature frame. Babolat is a huge sponsor at Roland Garros, and the limited release Pure Aero is generally painted in a terre battue colorway with Roland Garros logos integrated into the design. In 2018, to celebrate Nadal’s unprecedented achievements on clay, Babolat is releasing a run of Pure Aero La Decima racquets. The Pure Aero, Pure Aero Lite, and Pure Aero Junior 26 have limited-edition frames, adorned with some of Nadal’s mind-boggling records all over the inner hoop of the frames.
