The Australian Open is here and Nike’s 2014 spring collection for women will be making its mark on the athletes in Melbourne. Let’s find out what the pros are wearing down under at the first grand slam of the year.

The fashionable Maria Sharapova wore her signature premier dress last year at the 2013 Australian Open and she will continue to do so this year, adding visible shorts to the mix. She will be sporting the chic Premier Maria Tunic Dress in glacier ice. The Dri-FIT dress features a racerback construction that will extend her range of motion with perforated side panels for optimal ventilation and breathability on the court. This dress also comes with compression shorts for ball storage and coverage in this unique design. I definitely think these shorts make the outfit. On her feet she will be wearing the upgraded and redesigned Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour shoes in glacier ice that pairs perfectly with her grand slam attire. These ultra lightweight shoes are designed for speed on the court giving Sharapova control in every step.

Victoria Azarenka was last year’s Australian Open champ. Will she take the title again? We know for sure she’ll be performing her best in Nike. The world No. 2 will be wearing the Advantage Print Tank in a mix of red violet, bright magenta and matte silver. This form fitting tank features a lightly padded built-in bra for lightweight support, mesh lining for greater breathability and a racerback design for enhanced movement. She’ll be wearing the popular Pleated Woven Skirt in red violet.  Vika will be showcasing Nike’s highly anticipated Lunar Ballistecs in pink flash. She will definitely turn heads when she sports these on the court. The white details on the upper and grey base Nike swoosh make this a must-have shoe this season.
