Boris Becker London Tour

GROUNDSTROKES
I loved the BB Delta Core London Tour from the baseline. I found plenty of spin and power on our shots and hitting a variety of shots from the baseline. I did find  this racquet to feel very solid on both sides of my groundstrokes and both pace and spin were easy to generate and I liked the overall feel and control. An impressive racquet off the ground with a very soild and predictable feel at impact. I was surprised how well it moved as I was expecting to find maneuverability an issue based on the 11.6oz unstrung weight and slightly head light balance. But I was able to control depth and direction very very well and the weight and balance felt great in my hands. The sweetspot felt surprisingly large considering the 93in headsize.

RETURNS
Hitting either slice returns or looking to be aggressive I was able hit shots with good pace and depth and where I wanted the return togo. I had full confidence on my shots going where I hit them and was able to go for it just a little bit more.

VOLLEYS
Being 5 points head light and having a swingweight at 319 the BB Delta Core London Tour is maneuverable enough and very solid at the net. The smaller headsize was noticed but the touch, power and comfort does standout and makes up for that. Overall I found lots of feel and control at net with good enough power to put away volleys when i wanted to. Its ability to keep torque to a minimum was noticed on reaction shots or when having to return hard hit passing shots. I found I had no problems putting volleys away with excellent control.

SERVES
On serve the swingweight of 319 and tight 18 x 20 string pattern helped me power through serves with good power and excellent control. I really enjoyed this stick for serving and was able to get plenty of movement on all my slice, flat, kick serves. The excellent feel and control allowed me to go for that extra pace and have no fear of missing.

OVERALL
For a stronger player the BB Delta Core London Tour gave me excellent feel with controlled power. Players that can hit the sweetspot of this smaller 93 sq inch head will reap the rewards of pinpoint placement and deep controlled  shots. Its a very control oriented stick from the baseline with a solid comfortable feel. Having a low swingweight allows for easily found control while swinging out and keeping the ball inside the court and control for sure not an issue. At the net with excellent feel, the BB Delta Core London Tour will please the stronger player with good strokes. Overall a great preformance stick from all areas of the court.
