With all new graphics for 2011, Babolat has jazzed up a great frame that offers maneuverability, power and all the control of past Pure Storms. The Pure Storm GT offers a crisp and solid feel but also offers good pop. The GT technology, a mix of graphite and tungsten helps increase the stability and makes a great frame even better.
 Groundstrokes Aggressive players will find it very easy to take advantage of the spin friendly nature of the Pure Storm GT. I found I was able to take big swings at the tennis ball and had plenty of pop to put the ball away. I had a sizeable amount of control from the 98sq in head size and was able to hit out from the baseline without fear of having shots fly out of bounds. The almost even balance is a big positive for big hitters providing light weight but good plow through with just enough solidity to drive home the ball with authority. Volleys At net, the Pure Storm GT Tennis Racquet offered a decent degree of maneuverability, though regrettably not enough. I was not able to respond to shots that projected straight towards me as quickly as I normally would with my principle frame. However, net approaches near mid court were easy to reach for and maneuver. I had plenty of control and was able to come into contact with a smooth touch and put away volleys. The almost even balance (1pt headlight) which helped so much from the baseline made the racquet feel slightly unstable at net. Serves I found lots of positives when serving. The light weight made swinging the frame almost effortless but the even balance again helps provide that little extra weight as you swing thru your serves. The frame gave me all the power I needed with spin and control excelling on flat, slice and kick serves. Very comfortable even when going for a big 1st serve. Overall, an excellent serving frame.
